Hydroxycut Lawyer

On May 1, 2009, the FDA issued a recall of all Hydroxycut weight-loss products, manufactured and distributed by Iovate Health Services, after receiving 23 reports linking Hydroxycut to serious side effects.  Such side effects include liver damage and other related injuries, including one death due to liver failure.  The Hydroxycut lawyers at Bernstein Liebhard LLP are currently investigating Hydroxycut liver damage and other potentially serious and life-threatening Hydroxycut side effects.

Hydroxycut Lawsuits

Recently, two class action lawsuits have been filed against Iovate, seeking damages for negligence and failure to warn about possible deadly liver damage and other severe injuries stemming from Hydroxycut use.  Additionally, a number of lawsuits against the manufacturers have been settled in the past.  About nine million units of Hydroxycut products were sold in 2008 and, therefore, there may exist many unreported Hydroxycut-related injuries, including cases of serious liver damage. Some symptoms of liver damage include jaundice, brown urine, nausea, vomiting, light-colored stools, excessive fatigue, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain, itching, and loss of appetite.
