Additional State Pelvic Mesh Lawsuits Underway

Mr. Grand was also named Co-Liaison Counsel in In re Pelvic Mesh/Gynecare Litigation, No. 6341-10 (N.J. Super Ct.), and In re Pelvic Mesh Litigation/Bard No. L-6339-10 (N.J. Super. Ct.), which are two consolidated actions of all pelvic mesh lawsuits filed in New Jersey state court. These state court actions are pending before the Honorable Carol E. Higbee in the Superior Court of New Jersey Law Division, Atlantic County.

Plaintiffs filing pelvic lawsuits allege that the manufacturers produced and sold defective vaginal mesh products, which are used to treat pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. Those who have experienced transvaginal mesh complications may be entitled to compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages and other injuries.
