On June 26, 2009, Hoffman-La Roche issued a recall on their popular acne drug, Accutane. Accutane was pulled from the market by Roche, citing generic competition and legal costs for defense against multiple Accutane lawsuits. Accutane has been linked to severe side effects such as inflammatory bowel disease, depression, suicide and birth defects. Given the debilitating nature of these side effects, the Accutane lawyers at Bernstein Liebhard LLP are currently investigating Accutane related injuries.
The Accutane lawyers at our firm believe that Roche’s failure to adequately warn patients about these harmful side effects gives rise to a legal claim by those suffering from Accutane side effects. Since its approval by the FDA in 1982, Accutane users have been unknowingly exposed to potentially life-threatening side effects. In 2004, the FDA named Accutane as one of the top five most dangerous prescription drugs on the market. In June 2009, Roche issued an Accutane recall.
If you suffer from inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, or Chron’s disease after Accutane use, the Accutane lawyers at our law firm may be able to help you collect compensation for expenses related to your injuries, including:
