Gabriel G. Galletti received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1998, graduating cum laude, and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law and on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Journal of International Law. During law school, Mr. Galletti was active in the school’s peer advisor program and tutored disadvantaged children in the local community.
Following law school, Mr. Galletti worked from 2004 to 2008 as a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in its New York and London offices, where he represented defendants in several antitrust litigations; conducted internal investigations for corporate clients, such as a price-fixing investigation of a major airline in response to inquiries by the US Department of Justice and UK Office of Fair Trading; and assisted in numerous securities matters, including representing the world’s fifth-largest gold producer in an $8 billion hostile tender offer. Mr. Galletti is committed to pro bono practice; during his tenure at Simpson Thacher, Mr. Galletti was substantially involved in pro bono cases brought by the firm.
From 2008 to 2009, Mr. Galletti clerked for the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan in the United States District Court of New Jersey.
Since joining the Firm, Mr. Galletti has concentrated his practice in complex and class action litigation.
Mr. Galletti is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
