Sara Goodman received her bachelor’s degree in 2006 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (B.A., Political Science and Sociology), and received her J.D. in 2009 from Columbia Law School.  While in law school, Ms. Goodman was a participant in the Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Honors Competition and was a law intern in the Affirmative Litigation Division at the New York City Department of Law.

Following law school, Ms. Goodman clerked for the Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Since joining the Firm, Ms. Goodman concentrates her practice on complex and class action litigation with a focus on securities and consumer fraud litigation.  Ms. Goodman is also a member of the Firm’s Supreme Court and Appellate Practice Group.  In addition to working on individual matters, Ms. Goodman is currently working on several noteworthy cases, including In re Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation, No. 21 MC 92 (S.D.N.Y.), one of the largest securities class actions ever litigated, which settled for $586 million.

Ms. Goodman is admitted to the Bars of the States of New York and New Jersey.  She is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
